These newly designed rounds made a more streamlined and compact hopper possible If you’re not familiar with Nerf guns this is well above average and can be attributed to the redesign in caliber (size) of the new Hyper Rounds. Hyper rounds are NOT interchangeable with Rival rounds or blasters. Please keep in mind that Hyper blasters take a specific type of ammunition. Hyper Rounds are similar in texture but are much small in caliber and are manufactured out of a completely different material. These are not to be mistaken with the all to familiar Rival rounds that are used with all other Rival series blasters. This is a feature that is exclusive to the Hyper series and tops out just above the Rival series at 100 FPS Rush-40 Ammo (Hyper Rounds) The Rush-40 is also one of the highest FPS shooting Nerf guns available. 40 rounds goes a long way and will no doubt keep you in the action longer. Moving the trigger safety upwards will put the gun back into the ready position. Putting it in the downward position will lock the trigger and the blaster will not fire. ![]() While pointing the Nerf gun in the outward position you will find the trigger safety located on the left side of the gun. Nerf guns are only so accurate, although it does give you a visual point. On the top of the blaster is an integrated sighting system that will do it’s job as long as you don’t put a reload canister on the top tactical rail. There are 4 usable tactical rails located on the Rush-40 that were designed with the intention of accommodating the reload canisters, however, they are suitable for a range of accessories. ![]()
